My STEM Journey

Starting with my early influences and experiences that sparked my interest in STEM, I will discuss how I navigated through various challenges and opportunities in my military and professional journey. I will also highlight the key projects I have been involved in and the lessons I have learned along the way. Additionally, I will share academic experiences, working while attaining two graduate degrees and being the 3rd woman to earn a PhD in Mechanical Engineering at Howard University.  Through my story, I hope to inspire others to pursue their passion in STEM and to show that with hard work, perseverance, and a commitment to making a difference, it is possible to achieve great things.
